Fiverr is a website where people from around the world sell their skills for five dollars. There are a wide variety of things you can get, some involving computer programming skills and others for more simple tasks such as drawing something or creating a video with voiceover. It is important to know that all services on fiverr must be submitted through gigs, which have set specifications and pricing. You can find gigs by searching "gigs" in the search bar at the top of any page on fiverr. Apart from these many different types of jobs there's also so-called "power sellers," who have been able to build up an impressive portfolio of high-quality work through continual use of fiverr.

Fiverr's goal is to make it easier for entrepreneurs (freelancers) to provide services online. The platform allows freelancers to set up an online store that has the potential of generating revenue by enabling clients to offer jobs. Freelancers list their services under one of two main categories, "gigs" and "services". Gigs are mostly products which can be sold but can also include customized articles or ad-hoc jobs like video editing or logo designing. Services are more personalized tasks like providing inspirational speeches, teaching a course or writing content in a niche field etc.

Fiverr is actually not exclusively for freelancers. I currently do play-writing and non-fiction writing, but it's also great for graphic designers, programmers, videographers etc. Basically anyone with a skill set can take to Fiverr to offer their services! Some of the most popular services offered through Fiverr are audio design and illustration work. I know several people who have made well into the five figures just through doing Fiverr gigs. It's an incredible platform that drives quality work because you're competing against so many other professionals hungry for outstanding reviews. Just be sure to create high quality content! Those will bring in top dollar rates much more quickly than any sub-par product or service.

Answer: Fiverr is a marketplace that matches customers with talented online freelancers.

The website was started by Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger as an online "bazaar" of digital services for consumers such as small business owners.
Freelancer job types can include subjects like Web Design, Website Developer, Logo Designer, SEO Expert, Video Producer and Virtual Assistant.
Fiverr's website ranks jobs on a five-point scale: $5 (lowest) to $500 (highest). Freelance Job categories include Design & Graphics; Video & Animation; Writing & Translation; Music; Systems Administration; Business Consulting and Sales/Marketing/Public Relations.

Fiverr is a website where people can create and sell their service for $5. It's like the digital version of low-cost (or no-cost) freelancing. You might post your skills as a translator, writer, or singer and list your prices accordingly. If you're an established freelance contractor it makes sense to advertise those high end skills on sites like LinkedIn by charging more because those services and rates should be negotiated beforehand and agreed upon before any work begins (hence the reason they call it "freelancing").
