No. Fiverr does not approve or endorse any reviews written about sellers, or require that sellers pay for reviews - other than the ones they write themselves! So unless the review looks like this. The last review I received was from Melody Bell Amazing paper nice and big. Amazing person Fast shipping. the likelihood of it being authentic is very low. The idea here is who are you going to trust? A man outside your house telling you he's an artist while he swipes at your front door with a paintbrush..or someone who has paid thousands of dollars to relocate their business closer to yours? You do the math!

Reviews can be as honest as you want them to be or as negative as you want them to be. The best thing I suggest is for past freelancers reading reviews of current freelancers is if they see a review from a freelancer that left a lot of positive feedback, then the freelancer reviewing the person will most likely leave a positive review too. It usually depends on who you're buying from, how many orders they typically get, and people's expectations. For example, if you're an agency director and your job is to direct marketing activities for beauty products across different parts of North America and put out ads probably everyday whether its TV spots on YouTube about new products etc., it would cost more than $5.

Reviews on websites such as Fiverr are usually an exaggeration of the quality of a service. It's not hard to find reviews that have been paid off for a great review, but there is no way to know which reviews are real and which ones were written by somebody who just wanted a small refund. Reviewers also need to be taken into consideration when looking at their reviews. If they only provide good reviews, it could make them feel some kind of payback from those people they put positive feedback it for them, which may or may not be intentional.

In the past, fiverr reviews were just part of a scam - to buy 5 stars from fake reviewers. ?A few years ago, it was possible for someone buying a service on Fiverr to see the reputation of other buyers by going to their profile. So first time customers could be tricked into buying first-time services, and first-time sellers could be tricked into accepting payments first. Because this was a problem for both groups, Fiverr has since disabled those profiles from being shown as part of customer search criteria to reduce these scams.

Recent studies have shown that only 7% of the reviews on Fiverr are real. That's a shocking number, considering just how many people order gigs from this site for every day use. Fiverr has a B- rating with the Better Business Bureau with a total of 9 active complaints over 22 closed cases within the past three years. This is not to mention all of the critiques from customers highlighting their dissatisfaction with everything from price gouging to low-quality services and products being delivered late. Everyone wants good prices and there are plenty of sites out there willing to deliver it, but don't fall victim to Fiverr scams because they will never last so long as other reliable services!

If you're looking for a candid review of Fiverr, look no further. I've been on Fiverr for a couple of years, and it's mostly been positive. Occasionally I'll come across a customer who is trying to abuse the system by demanding unreasonable things from sellers. But overall, I think it's a good marketplace to make some money if you have skills in industries like design and programming that are popular there - at least as good as freelancing sites generally are.
