It depends on what services you are offering. For example, if you are writing reviews or articles or creating videos, it will be very difficult for your prospects to find your work again. But if you are out there doing something more location-specific like designing logos, websites, etc., then it will be easier for someone to find your previous projects and contact you with an offer. Freelancers should also cultivate relationships with their clients before they start freelancing; that way clients can recommend them to others who need the same services.

The biggest tips in being a successful freelancer on Fiverr are being so unbelievably specific when writing your gig description that people can't ignore you, consistently delivering high-quality work that customers love, and building a large following. This is how I got started on Fiverr using all three of these elements. I started with an insanely descriptive gig title - "10 Articles Delivered in 10 Days" - and made sure to be the only person who offers this service by adding some keywords like EXPERT WRITER HERE (it helps to use caps sometimes). I also did my research on what buyers were most interested in, which was of course quality content about computers or video games.

It all starts with a killer portfolio. A freelancer will succeed by selling their skills and time, and producing excellent work. Like any businesswoman or man, they'll need to market themselves; the Internet offers many opportunities for this (weblog, Twitter, Facebook). Current estimates show that about 12-17 million Americans freelance on the side of full-time jobs or as self-employed professionals. One in three American now earns some money from gig work. Around 4 million people now make most of their living this way; by 2020 it could be as many as 40% of adults in America who earn an income through such means.

5. Rate your level of expertise realistically and provide examples to back it up - show off your best skills and experience so people know what they're getting ahead of time. 6. Be willing to do things for free - and also be willing to take on tasks you've never done before. 7. Provide a portfolio of work samples - if possible, include links where you can find the work in question. 8. Don't skimp on good keywords when filling out items in your profile, bio section, service descriptions, etc.

Promote your offer with SEO, social media and by tapping into forum boards in the niche markets. -Keep in mind success is not instant, you will need to work hard twice as hard than when you were employed full time so be prepared to dedicate yourself entirely to this new passion of yours! Good luck!
