Yes! amazon has a variety of stay at home jobs, so if you're interested it's worth checking out. For example, there are liaisons who work with investors to help them find products they might like. This type of job doesn't require any prior knowledge about investing or marketing, but does take an interest in startups and definitely pays better than most stay-at-home jobs. Others may enjoy the human resources role where they determine which hires will be best suited for each position on the company's team.

Amazon offers flexible work opportunities with competitive pay where you can set your own schedule. Amazon has work-from-home positions for individuals who are the manager of an Amazon delivery business in Amazon Flex, where they are responsible for loading their car up with packages and dropping them off to customer locations throughout the day. Amazon also offers great opportunities for stay at home parents who would like to make money by becoming a virtual assistant-which is perfect if you have very limited time but still want to be financially independent. With Virtual Assistants, Amazon will hire someone to perform administrative tasks on behalf of businesses that aren't able or don't want to do it themselves, much like when I manage my company's social media accounts!

Amazon is a dynamic, growing company with many opportunities. Unfortunately, these opportunities are not currently open for the stay-at-home population. Offering remote work options would turn Amazon into an employer of choice according to Forbes contributor Laurie Ruettimann, who argues that "just because some employees choose to work remotely does not negate the need for human resources professionals." From wellness initiatives to adoption assistance programs to tuition reimbursement benefits, Amazon's established healthcare initiatives combined with workplace culture rank it as providing one of the best onsite experiences around. What they need now is "a greater level of willingness on behalf of more employees (and managers!)" to go home-based too.
