Samsung's virtual assistant is called Bixby and it will be coming out with the Galaxy S8 on March 29th. Samsung's vision for their virtual assistant requires complex hardware and complex software. That's why we can't expect anything less than the "flagship of flagships" to come out this year, which is how Samsung describes the Galaxy S8. The company claims that they wanted to release it sooner but were held up by more testing needed for security, user experience optimization, and translations into eleven languages total - English included!

Sometime this summer. Samsung will officially announce the availability of its new 'Bixby' personal voice agent at an event in New York on Wednesday. The company, which is skipping its usual press conference in early March before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month, said its "Unpacked" event next week will show off a new "flagship smartphone" along with the artificial intelligence platform that listens to voice commands and can control other devices."The Galaxy S8, Samsung's next flagship device planned for release late in March 2017," according to Nikkei Asian Review contributor Yukiko Ota who cited people familiar with the matter."Samsung plans to introduce Bixby when launching this model," she added.

The answer to this question does not seem to be forthcoming. If you were asking when the S8 model will come out, then that would be published soon before the release. Almost every electronics manufacturer tells its potential buyers what is coming out in advance, so they can ensure there are enough products for all their customers and designers don't waste time redoing features already done by another company. But companies also don't want their competitors to know what they are doing, so it's difficult to find accurate information about upcoming releases early on in design process.

We also know that the apps won't work on non-Samsung devices which can use Voice Assistant by Google or Siri by Apple.?? When samsung virtual assistant update? Samsung doesn't release exact launch dates for their products, but we can estimate that their virtual assistant will be released soon based on the timing of previous releases. For example, when we compare the Galaxy S9 and S9+'s release to the Galaxy Note 8 and Note 9's release (galaxy devices with few notable upgrades aside from a bigger screen), we notice an interval of right around one year between each device's announcement and its official release date. The next Samsung phone anticipated to be released is likely going to be the Samsung Galaxy X. If they follow this pattern, then it should arrive at about November 2020 according to their schedule updates in 2019.
