Answer: Now that the release of Samsung's Android flagship has completed, new artificial intelligence-powered assistants will be released soon.

Samsung first previewed its virtual assistant Bixby on the Samsung Galaxy S8 at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. At CES 2018 it revealed Bixby 2.0 with improved natural language processing and an SDK to open up its software architecture to developers. Amazon announced Alexa for Business at Amazon Web Services re:Invent 2017; Apple AIKit never got far beyond an announcement (likely Amazon's influence). Google Duplex blew everybody away with how creepy-realistic it sounded like "uhms" and "umms."
It just needs a CEO ‍♂️

Samsung already unveiled their virtual assistant in the form of Bixby at the Samsung Galaxy 8 Unpacked event. Voice commands paired with home appliances and televisions will be just one way that they'll get more users on board with this technology. Although Google searches are available for us to use, it would be exciting to see more innovative uses of the voice assistant come through over time-and with innovation, more people might want to purchase this product! I've seen some videos about how samsung's voice controller has extraordinary abilities- if you liked Siri or Apple homekit before, then it looks like you're going to love Samsung's new feature!

All of Samsung's latest and greatest technologies can be found on the Galaxy S10. The combination of these features give the user some amazing capabilities like using their phone as a remote for streaming video, capturing important moments such as kids playing sports, and automatically uploading those videos to an app on the cloud. All-in-all, Virtual Assistant's advanced technology offers more than even some people might realize. And if you want to invest in new tech that is guaranteed to be on the cutting edge and steadily evolving due to new innovations? The first place you should look is at Galaxy S10 (and any other phones under this series) by Samsung.

Samsung is rumored to be working on a virtual assistant competitor to Apple's Siri for many years, but it will likely take a long time before Samsung releases one. Samsung hired the head of Swype as the head of its voice recognition research team, which indicates that they want to focus more time and resources on creating this type of technology. Other evidence includes various patents filed about possible products with "Siri-like features" and rumors from last year about plans for an English version by 2014 and an international version next year.

It's not really a definite time, but we'll likely see it sometime in 2020. There is no set date for the release of Samsung Virtual Assistant and there probably won't be until 2020. You should know that 3 years ago, Samsung announced at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) their plans to release voice-activated smart controls by 2020. There is one possible candidate for this device--the Q9 TV which has been outfitted with Amazon Echo's virtual assistant Alexa as well as an RCS (Rich Communication System) feature which allows users to answer emails and send texts through their TVs without using a smartphone or other mobile device.

Virtual assistants are not new to Samsung. Read article for more details. The most recent of which is Bixby, an AI that was introduced at the company's 7th annual developer conference in October 2016- nearly six months ago. And if you're wondering when this feature will come to the S8, the answer is "very soon". Many reports have circulated about a rumor that hinted that Bixby Release date might be announced on March 29th during Samsung Unpacked 2017 event in New York City for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy 8 crowd. Better yet, its Release Date may actually come out before this time!
