Virtual assistants have no typical salary. Much depends on the mutually agreed upon workload, which is entirely dependent on the availability of the given job candidate. Virtual assistants are an ever-present trend that has now grown into a serious profession. It is impossible to assign a set number for what someone makes as there are just too many factors involved in determining an individual's hourly rate within this field. For instance, how much work will be required? What skills does this professional posses? These factors all determine the worth of any virtual assistant across various fields. FYI - Virtual assistants can earn anywhere from $10/hour up to potentially over $100/hour depending on their work experience and skill level.

Depending on the type of work you're doing, average pay for a virtual assistant varies widely. Virtual assistants often work with experts in various fields to develop their own personalized career plan. The statistic I've seen is that around 90% of people achieve adequate financial security if they make $150,000-250,000 at their career (assuming two weeks of vacation time per year). If you can make this much as a VA with your expenses reasonably under control (say with no car payment or credit card debt), then it is usually possible to live well and save enough to eventually be financially secure.

A virtual assistant earns £ 30,000 - £ 50,000 ($ 44,684-$ 71,288) per year. A virtual assistant is typically compensated by the hour. Expect to pay anywhere from $25 to $100 an hour for a competent VA who can reliably handle your workload with minimal supervision. The more hectic and complicated your workload is the higher you should budget. Virtual assistants are invaluable when it's necessary to have someone else manage travel arrangements or take care of personal human resources needs including recruiting new employeesand scheduling time off or vacations.

Where I work at, virtual assistants are paid $1000/month. The initial costs are negligible in comparison to the time they save for higher management. Those who have virtual assistants usually say it pays for itself fast and is one of the best decisions they've ever made. They can focus on what needs to be done instead of spending most of their day googling how-tos or waiting for computer issues dumb online courses don't teach you how to hardware problems, etc., any issues that often come up when running a business from home set aside - the computer setup).

If you're asking this question, you are probably either looking for a virtual assistant or trying to hire one. The answer to both of these is, it depends on the job requirements. Answering this question is more difficult than you would think because virtual assistants are different from other jobs in the sense that they work remotely with many clients and each client has their own expectations (i.e., time available etc.). There's also a wide range of skills required depending on what type of service needs to be provided.
