A VAs can do many tasks, but the list of answers is unavoidably limited. Essentially they are just a program that allows somebody to outsource certain tasks, or provide existing skills not attainable by the user themselves. The duties vary based on their programming by different developers so it's understandably hard to give an accurate answer here. Some examples of what has been programmed are making appointments, storing information for contacts over time, scheduling events and projects with deadlines, kind of like an enterprise scheduler management system server basically in a neat package that only needs input from one side when appropriate to create processes from there automatically until enacted when necessary.

You can use your virtual assistant to manage tedious tasks, for example emailing your boss to let them know you need be out of the office on Tuesday evening. Or, if you're using a travel service like Kayak they can help you save hours by getting all the flights and destinations into your calendar with just one click. Research has shown that every hour people spend searching for things online equals 10 minutes less of human time wasted per week. With intense demands on our personal lives now days, wouldn't it be nice if there were some individuals devoted to freeing up our time? Well luckily there's no longer an excuse not one!

Virtual assistants are continuously evolving, so no one could put down an exhaustive list of things that virtual assistants can do. The type of work a person's assistant does is often dependent on their specific needs. Of course, there are some generalizations that are safe to make. If someone has difficulty with phone calls or face-to-face conversations, then voice recognition software might be helpful. If they have issues with mobility or dexterity, then computer/mobile based solutions would probably be best suited for them.

    Answer:
By combing voice recognition and natural language understanding, a virtual assistant can take on some of the tedious work involved in running your day-to-day errands. This will vary by service provider, but possible tasks include updating calendars, scheduling meetings, tracking down people's contact information, answering common yes or no questions (such as what today's date is), performing simple calculations (great for figuring out whether you should buy something that costs $x amount now or wait to see if its price will decrease), telling jokes (yes!), playing music & radio stations without having to download an app like Pandora., recommending restaurants or TV shows based on personal preferences.
Some Virtual Assistant services are currently priced at $129 per year for up to 5
