    You need to find your niche. What are you good at? What interests you? Figure that out and then narrow it down, then think of an angle for the idea you want to write about. For instance, I'm very curious person so I could write about how people live around the world. But instead, I write about what are "normal" human activities in different cultures around the world--which is basically flipping through YouTube videos watching people use toilet paper or ice cubes in different countries. Your next task is to see if there's a market for what you plan on writing about, e.g., do other legitimate news outlets report on this topic? Does anyone else really talk about it wherever they're "normal"?
