There's no definitive answer to this question since everyone's experiences with Upwork (previously oDesk) will be different. That said, I've found that Upwork can be a great platform for finding consistent work if you play your cards right. In my experience, the key to being successful on Upwork is to:. -build up a strong profile. -land good clients by bidding on projects that fit your skillset. -provide value and exceed expectations. -build long-term relationships with clients. Of course, success on Upwork also requires some luck and timing. The platform works best when there's a good mix of high quality freelancers and paying clients.

Upwork is a great way to find freelancers for short-term or long-term projects. I have found both quality and quantity of freelancers on Upwork to be quite good. The only downside is that sometimes you have to spend a bit of time sorting through proposals to find the best fit for your project. But that's the case with any freelance marketplace. Overall, I'd say Upwork is a great option for finding quality freelancers.

Whether or not Upwork actually "works" depends on a variety of factors - including what kind of work you're looking for, what kinds of skills you have to offer, how pushy and persistent you are in applying for jobs, and a bit of luck. That being said, I know many people who have found good quality, long-term work via Upwork - myself included. I think it's a great platform overall, and definitely worth using if you're hoping to find freelance or contract work. Here are a few tips that might help increase your chances of success on Upwork. 1.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the experience of using Upwork may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, and industry. However, many people have had success finding work through Upwork and earning good incomes. Before signing up with Upwork, it's important to do your research and make sure that you understand the platform's Terms of Service. Familiarize yourself with the process of bidding on projects, creating proposals, and negotiating rates. And be sure to set your rates at a level that will allow you to earn a good income for the time and effort you put in.

Yes, Upwork definitely works! I have used it myself to find some great freelancers for my business. The key is to take the time to write a detailed job posting and be very specific about what you are looking for. Then, when you start receiving proposals, take your time to review each one carefully. If you do those two things, you will definitely be able to find some great freelancers on Upwork!

I'm sure it does for some people, but I've had a bad experience with them. I was a freelance writer for about a year, and I found that Upwork was one of the worst places to find work. The clients are often flakes who disappear after they've agreed to pay you, and the competition is fierce. It's hard to make much money through Upwork unless you're an amazing writer with a very specialized skill set. I ended up quitting because it was just too frustrating to spend hours writing proposals that would get accepted only to have the client flake on me or not bother paying me.
