Yes. As a freelancer you can work from anywhere, and there are many advantages to this. For example if you can't afford to live in a desired area because of housing costs or living expenses then you don't have to suffer the consequences because as a freelancer your geographic location is unimportant - as long as you're connected to the internet. Likewise for those who want more freedom but feel limited because of long commutes/downtime at an office it's great that we now have ways for anyone to be flexible and work remotely.

Yes, they do. No doubt you've seen the "gig economy" boom in recent years. Recently, researchers have come to understand that this gig industry is not just a fad or trend, but rather it reflects important economic transformations that are revolutionizing what used to be one of America's most conventional career paths. The traditional career rarely exists anymore due to diversifying work functions and lifestyles as well as the merging of industries with IT invasion. As a result, professionals must develop ways for balancing their personal lives with their careers so they can meet their goals both personally and professionally since there are inherent challenges living in an unconventional way coupled with non-linear career paths.

It's not a bad idea to work from home as a freelancer at audio bee, but you do need to consider the negatives such as issues with noise and distractions. Some employers may also wish that you come into the office for team meetings and development tasks, which can be problematic if all your staff are working remotely. Remote workers often need to put in extra hours over Skype because they don't make it past their homes' noisy kids or other distractions like household items and maintenance chores (e.g., weeding).
