Look at their profiles, be sure they're a company, not an individual with a profile on LinkedIn. Follow them or browse through their public updates to learn about what they do and who they work with. In your profile you should include where you live, social media links, specialties and experience if applicable. In addition to LinkedIn there are also great sites like Guru where professionals from around the globe consultant for projects as big as startups or as small as college students looking to completely rebrand themselves.
