    1. Update your profile. 2. Upload any video links that will showcase the quality of work that you can do. These can be uploaded directly to your profile or by attaching them uploading them to YouTube and adding the link (URL) to your upwork account. You should also include 2-3 testimonials, either by attaching PDFs or sending an email with the URLs within it because sometimes they need this for verification purposes. People want tangible proof that you're reachable, trustworthy, and deliverable on deadlines! 3. Start job hunting - no one says you have to accept every offer that's sent to reach!

    - Create a profile. This includes uploading your resume, stating your skills and academic credentials, attaching 3 samples of work to showcase your talents, adding skills that are relevant to the type of work you do. - Attach an upwork logo on the top left corner of every page on your website or blog where you post content (don't forget social media!). - Ask for feedback. Try submitting on some quick jobs on upwork first before asking for feedback on more elaborate projects; make sure you follow all submission guidelines! If they like what they see then great! If not then no worries because there's plenty more opportunities out there where people may love something that others didn't like as much.

In order to become a freelance worker with Upwork, you'll have to complete their registration form. This can be accessed from the Home Page of the website here. In addition, the company will need seven business days for processing these requests and approving them before your first assignment or contract can take place. Once this period has elapsed, you should receive automatic email confirmation through an email address which you must provide during registration (you should've set one up during the sign-in process). Please make sure to check your spam filters if needed! You should then return to your profile page on Upwork's site and select "Jobs" at the top of that page where there are links for connections, applications, etc.

Follow these steps to submit a profile that will help you stand out from the crowd. 1) Upload a good-looking 300x300px photo of yourself in an outfit you'd wear for a professional portrait. For best results, use a plain background and make sure your face is clearly visible without any flash reflections or other photography artifacts distracting from your appearance. Remember, this is how potential clients will recognize you--so put some effort into it!

There are three methods of joining upwork as a freelancer. You can take the temporary route, or join as an Upwork Ignitor to start immediately on jobs with clients you bid to win. To do so, you must subscribe for an Automation Service that costs 5% of your incoming job earnings, but this allows you to work throughout the day without having to wait for new client requests. Once subscribers have proven their competency by successfully completing two job orders worth at least $1000 each within 60 days under direct supervision from an UpWork Verified Employer they are eligible for becoming a verifiable freelancer on upwork which is how all regular freelancers start out cause they wouldn't let any noobie join.
